RYLA 2008/2009 District 3300 was held on 3 to 6 of April in Nur Lembah Pangsun Eco-Resort.
The theme for this RYLA was "today's youth, tomorrow's Leader". It was hosted by Rotary club of Melawati.
This was a successful camp which equip rotaractors with variety of hard as well as soft skills. All of us were enjoy being together. Fellowship, learning, presentation, community service, hiking etc was some of the activities which we have done at the RYLA.
We also have an opportunities to met with lots of successful leaders who shared with us their personal stories as well as how they succeed in their life. We have the opportunities to me Tun Dr. Mahathir who was the keynote speaker for the RYLA by communicating the importance of having a vision. Besides, Astronaut Dr. Sheikh Singh also being invited to give a speech about his story being an astronaut. We were really enjoy listening and learn some leadership skills form them as well.
Moreover, there is an outdoor activities which lead by Captain Ismail. This is the time all of us were really having fun. All the group required to cooperate in order to succeed in every obstacle courses. Besides, community service to home and hiking for rubbish collection also makes all of us learn lots of things.
